太極氣功養生班 VIRTUAL WELLNESS TAI CHI & CHI KUNG CLASS

在新冠肺炎疫情下,李錦濤師傅應卑詩省中風康復協會邀請,在其加拿大全國網上粵語中風康復小組逢星期四早上的活動中,主持網上太極氣功養生班。課堂已於20201119日開始,每節一小時,對象為說粵語及國語的中風康復者和其護理者。

太極課上除有熱身及氣功鬆身法,師傅將楊式雙架太極拳重新編排成一套八個動作的簡式,所有運動更包含站式及坐式以配合學員需要。期望學員能循序漸進學習和練習太極拳,以求身體狀況得到改善,受益無窮。

 

Program posterDuring the COVID-19 pandemic, Sifu Laurens Lee was invited by the Stroke Recovery Association of British Columbia to give a virtual wellness Tai Chi class every Thursday morning at its Canada-wide stroke recovery program. Started from November 19, 2020, this weekly one-hour class targets to Cantonese and Mandarin speaking stroke survivors and their caregivers.  

Other than the warm up and Chi Kung relaxation exercise, Sifu has rearranged the Yang's Dual Style Tai Chi into an eight-movement simplified form. To facilitate the needs of participants, all the exercises can be done either standing up or sitting down. It is hoped that participants could learn and practice Tai Chi Chuan step-by-step in order to improve their physical conditions and benefit greatly.
